Andrea + Eddie's Dreamy Winter Wedding in Holland, MI

Do couples get easier to work with or dreamier than Andrea + Eddie? Probably not. Their intimate day was winter perfection. Andrea started her day getting ready at the City Flats Hotel Holland, while the guys hung out at their venue, Baker Lofts. It’s always nice when we can grab any wedding party photos prior to the ceremony and Corey was able to grab some fun shots with Eddie and his groomsmen before we headed downtown. After a ton of research with Andrea we decided on the mural at 205 Coffee in Downton Holland to meet Eddie prior to the ceremony. It was SO cold but they were totally in the moment, braved the cold and had the sweetest first look. We also hit a few other spots downtown and near their venue for some portraits. Everyone was super on board with photos despite it being bitter cold and really windy. Once we were just about frozen we wrapped up and headed back to Baker lofts for the most heartfelt ceremony (they started with The Pixies “Where is My Mind” instrumental so you KNOW it was gonna be good!!!) and had the most fun dance party reception and quickest coldest sparkler exit!!!! Scroll down to see all the amazingness we captured!

Aimee and Nathan's Backyard Boho Wedding in Montgomery, Michigan

Aimee and Nathan's day was another wedding in 2016 where we felt right at home. We've known Aimee since high school and were ecstatic to photograph their day. Aimee and Nathan opted for an intimate backyard wedding with their family and friends held at Aimee's parents property in Montgomery, Michigan. They had the most heartfelt first look and of course that made for some super sweet images. Aimee and her family did all the decor themselves, which oh my gosh LOOK AT IT! SO STUNNING!!!! They are some of the loveliest boho details we have ever shot!!! Scroll slow they are so good! Their celebration was filled with so much happiness and love and we were so honored to be a part of it!

Kayla+David Southwest Michigan Boho Wedding 9.26.15

Kayla and David contacted me about photographing their reception event near Battle Creek, Michigan and I couldn't have been more excited to do so! When I was emailing with her I knew her and I were destined to make some photographic magic especially after we met and she was describing the whole vibe and aesthetic of her day! There is so much to say about this set of photographs and their day; how welcoming Kayla, David and their families were. The fact that it was a chill, laid back, backyard event on Kayla's family farm (Oh how we adore these kinds of days!) AMAZING DIY decor, the perfect overcast warm weather and amazing surprise sunset, peacocks EVERYWHERE...........UGH I want to relive this over and over. I loved that I was able to capture these lovely humans sweet and intimate connection in a place that was special for them and their family. I think this will forever be one of my favorite days and I am so overjoyed to share this little story!

Also...................welcome to the new blog and site and I can't wait to share everything I was shooting in 2015 when I was busy with the new baby!
