Angela + Logan's Snowy Spring Elopement

When Logan + Angela reached out to me about shooting their intimate forest elopement I knew I was going to be making some really beautiful work. However, I think we all had thoughts of a mild spring day. In true Michigan fashion, there was snow, and it was truly the most magical photogenic snow we could have asked for. They chose to hold their ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends amongst the towering pines at Hoffmaster State Park in Muskegon. They read their snow drenched vows in the stillness of the forest and quiet falling flakes. Special thank you to The Lost Forty; Kayla created a truly stunning bouquet and boutonnière that fit their dark and moody aesthetic perfectly. Do you ever have a moment that feels like haiku? This was truly one of those, and I hope for a moment you can feel what we felt on this day.

Aimee and Nathan's Backyard Boho Wedding in Montgomery, Michigan

Aimee and Nathan's day was another wedding in 2016 where we felt right at home. We've known Aimee since high school and were ecstatic to photograph their day. Aimee and Nathan opted for an intimate backyard wedding with their family and friends held at Aimee's parents property in Montgomery, Michigan. They had the most heartfelt first look and of course that made for some super sweet images. Aimee and her family did all the decor themselves, which oh my gosh LOOK AT IT! SO STUNNING!!!! They are some of the loveliest boho details we have ever shot!!! Scroll slow they are so good! Their celebration was filled with so much happiness and love and we were so honored to be a part of it!

Noelle + Brennan Bloomfield Hills Michigan Winter Wedding

Noelle + Brennan Bloomfield Hills Winter Wedding

2.20.16

Noelle and Brennan's day was absolutely stunning. Classic and elegant styling coupled with their laid back and fun personalities made this wedding extra special. Noelle chose to get ready at her parents home which is always a win (comfort and that light OH MY) and even included her adorable fur babes (which resulted in some of my favorite photos!) Their ceremony was held at Academy of the Sacred Heart. They also had the luck of gettin the mildest weather for a Michigan February so we had the opportunity to do their portraits outside in the beautiful golden sunset light! When we wrapped up at the church we headed to the Heather's Club of Bloomfield Hills for the reception! I could go on all day about their wedding but I'll stop here and let the photos do the rest!
